Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On this last day as Patron of Kozhencherry
Association Kuwait, I want to reiterate how
proud and honored I am to have worked with
you. Together, we have advanced this
remarkable union of Kozhencherrian's and
have established -- both for ourselves and
for others -- a broader platform to meet and
interact with each other.

Evidence of our achievement is the latest
addition of the NRI base center at
Kozhencherry. In addition, in the past we
were able to aid poor children with money for
their text books and clothing, we have
financed students to enable them continue
with their higher studies etc. We have come
out with ambitious plans for the future & I am
confident we will meet them with the
enthusiasm I see in this association.

Tomorrow, when I return and join the
Kozhencherry community, we shall still work
together to impart support to the needy at
Kozhencherry and surroundings. The base
center should be made fully functional with
the plans we have jointly made here.
Our association shall be characterized by its
members being extraordinarily innovative,
driven both by the vision of its founders and
its capacity to attract energetic, creative
members and leaders.
In all that we do, we must uphold our
uniqueness and fundamental characteristics
as Kozhencherrians.  I have no doubt that
KAK will continue on its upward trajectory,
with the same intensity and innovation that
has propelled the association to its present
distinction. As well, I am certain that our Mr.
K.P Koshy is giving us excellent patronage.
He is a proven leader and a dedicated and
enthusiastic champion of KAK. Please join
me in supporting him and his team of the
office bearers for 2008.
In closing, let me thank you again for your
good wishes and many gestures of support.
Your friendship and kindness have meant
the world to me and my family. Although I
have been tapped to serve you in different
capacities, I will never forget you and the
wonderful experiences we have shared.

KAK's farewell to Mr. P.M John (29th Mar 08).......................................
The farewell ceremony presided by Mr. Prasad K Mathew (Vice President), began with a silent prayer. Mr. Mathew Koshy (Secretary) welcomed the
invitees & guests. In his presidential address, Mr. Prasad recollected the warm memories of working together with Johnychaayan & assured to take the
KAK flame forward with more strength.  
Association patron, Mr. K.P Koshy in his speech remembered his interactions with Johnychaayan during his college days. He stressed on the need for KAK
to move forward with more social responsibility for the poor and needy people.   
Felicitation speeches were followed starting with Mr.  Abraham Mathew (President, Maramon Association). Following the felicitation speeches, a road map
for KAK was rolled out my Mr. Philip Thomas (Trustee). The future development plans and social support programs from NRI Base center in
Kozhencherry is planned to be executed in 4 phases. Mr. Philip added that there are still few positions open for life membership of the NRIBC.
The excellent  'Vallapattu' songs presented by the Melukara Team was an unexpected treat for the gathering.
Mrs. & Mr. P.M John were presented with plaques & gifts as a mark of respect by KAK.  Mr. P.M John gave a reply speech as below . The function was
closed out with vote of thanks by Mr. Manjo Mathew followed by a grant buffet from Al-Wazzan (courtesy Mr. Regi).
